Chris & Skye live in Washington State and are in a 24/7 power exchange dynamic. A simple Facebook post asked people in a group to share their hobbies and passions where Chris shared about his passion for woodworking and leathercrafting which Skye had been interested in adding to her doom pile of hobbies for some time. One “Howdy” message later turned into a first date, turned into Skye’s first turned bowl, turned into following what we love to do, together.

Skye: If she were a vegetable, she would be a sweet potato. She is AuDHD and after finally being diagnosed at 28 began to be able to make sense of the world. The week she lost her job was the week she took her first pottery class and threw herself into ceramics. She found something in it she had been searching for her whole life. She creates unique functional art pieces to bring whimsy, fun and color into peoples lives while celebrating kink, sexuality, and neurodiversity. 

Chris: Chris has had a passion for woodworking since shop class in high school and bought his first lathe many years later to return to the craft. He retired after 20 years in the Navy as a Senior Chief FC and loves creating personalized one of a kind pieces for his loved ones. He is a tinkerer at heart and enjoys understanding how things work and creating new designs to old ideas.
